Applying for a home

Anyone aged 16 years or over can apply for a property with the Association.

To apply you must submit an application form: these are available at the office or online in our downloads section (coming soon) or alternatively you can request one be mailed out to you.

Properties for rent

The association has a housing waiting list which is open to everyone aged 16 years and older. We let all our properties in accordance with our allocations policy. Properties are let according to applicants’ individual circumstances and need.

Applicants are offered housing in order of the highest housing need points for each property type and area, the only exception is where the property has been specially designed or adapted for someone with particular needs.

Mutual Exchange

If you wish to stay in the local area and would like to advertise for a mutual exchange please let us know. We can advertise this on our information board in reception.

Other Housing Options

The housing options open to you depends on your current circumstances. You may consider renting a home from a registered social landlord, renting from a private landlord, securing a mortgage to buy a property outright or to buying a shared ownership property.
