Our Mission Statement
‘To work along with others to make Royston a better place to live and a place where people choose to live’
Our purpose is to provide good quality affordable housing and to ensure that the Association remains a strong, stable and independent social landlord.
The Association is responsible for managing the housing stock it owns, with staff working to the strategy and policy framework set out by our Management Committee. Our Management Committee lead the organisation by setting and controlling the direction of its affairs whilst ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory standards as set by the Scottish Housing Regulator.
Services we provide include allocation of empty properties, tenancy management and support, rent collection, a comprehensive repairs and maintenance service, estate management, welfare rights advice, and a factoring service for our owners, as well as community development.
The key focus of the Association is to continue to be a caring, locally controlled community based landlord providing responsive, efficient and effective services to our customers. The Association’s continued success will be built on our commitment to involve our membership in shaping services and to deliver our vision of delivering quality housing services, working in partnership with our members and others to create a secure, safe, attractive and sustainable community.
